Sometimes an existing project works very well under the hood but its interface requires a change. In this project, we re-designed and re-created frontends for a pharmacy warehouse system. As sales consultants and pharmacy managers very often use mobile devices, the main idea was to make fronted more user-friendly and responsive.
To hit two birds with one stone and lower the costs for the client we decided to use React for both Web Front end end for mobile application. Our UX Guys took care of the intuitive design inspired by Google's Material specification.
As the project involved multiple stakeholders requirements gathering phase needed special approach. We decided to go with Event Modeling workshops to discover business domain events and match it with UI wireframes. UX part was very important to the client. Thanks to our designers we delivered consistent experience across mobile and web applications.
